Care, Safety & Terms

We want you to enjoy your Popping Balloons arrangement to its fullest! To help keep your gift looking its best (and to ensure safety), please read through the following care guidelines and terms.


Collection, Storage & Care

  • Balloon arrangements are best gifted within 12 hours of collection for optimal quality.
     
  • Balloons are sensitive to temperature and environmental factors beyond our control. For best results, please collect or schedule delivery on the day you intend to gift.
     
  • If you plan to gift the following day, you must advise us at the time of ordering                                       


  • Keep away from sharp objects until ready to pop.
     
  • Handle gently — lift only by the box or base and keep as flat as possible.
     
  • Avoid direct sunlight or heat. Keep in a safe location away from sunlight, heat and areas prone to temperature changes.
     
  • Keep away from air conditioning or extreme temperature changes.
     
  • Once your arrangement has left Popping Balloons and is in your care, responsibility transfers to you.


  • Note: Contents may shift slightly during transport — please handle carefully.



Popping Safety

  • Balloons may contain small/sharp objects — choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3 including Pets or anyone who puts objects in their mouth.
     
  • Always pop under adult supervision.
     

Allergies

  • Some sweets may contain traces of nuts.
     
  • Latex may cause allergic reactions in some people.
     
  • If a reaction occurs, please seek medical advice.
     

Personalised Garments

If your arrangement includes personalised clothing/accessories:

  • Do not dry clean.
     
  • Wash & dry inside out, cold or warm wash only.
     
  • Use mild detergent.
     
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry.
     
  • Do not iron directly on the design.
     

Spelling for personalisation must be provided correctly. Errors submitted by the customer will incur a redo fee if production has begun.


Product Substitutions

Due to product availability, substitutions of equal value and quality may be made without prior notice.
If a requested colour is unavailable, the closest suitable alternative will be used.


Product Variations

All balloon arrangements are handmade. Minor variations or imperfections may occur — this is not considered a fault.


Refunds & Cancellations

  • No refunds once an order has been placed.
     
  • Orders may be cancelled only if production has not begun.
     
  • Delivery/collection dates can only be changed with 48 hours’ notice and subject to availability.
     
  • Delivery dates cannot be altered in the notes section. If a date is unavailable at checkout, we are not available.
     

Natural Disasters / Weather

If delivery cannot be safely made due to events such as floods, fires, or road closures, your order will be delivered as soon as possible. 


Delivery

  • Deliveries are available across the north Brisbane region and selected suburbs.
     
  • Exact times cannot be guaranteed. Deliveries usually occur 9am – 6pm, 7 days a week.
     
  • Redelivery Policy
    If no one is available to receive your order and it needs to be returned, a redelivery fee may apply. We’ll do our best to arrange a new delivery at the next available time slot that suits.
     
  • Incorrect addresses or insufficient details will incur a redelivery fee. If a new balloon is required for redelivery, redo fees also apply.
     
  • We recommend leaving accurate contact details with each order in case we need to reach you regarding delivery challenges. Safe and clear access to the property must be available at the time of delivery, and all pets must be secured to ensure a smooth handover.
     

Pickup

  • Pickups are available during the times listed at checkout.
     
  • Please arrive on time. If late, please notify us immediately — alternative times are not be guaranteed.
     
  • Missed pickups are not eligible for refunds.
     

Customer Agreement

By placing an order with Popping Balloons, you agree to the above terms and accept that balloons are a temporary, delicate product. Customers release Popping Balloons, its owners, and employees from liability for any injury, allergy, illness, or property damage arising from balloon arrangements.
